Huawei launched smart city Intelligent Operation Center

Huawei has launched its new Smart City concept, at the Huawei Smart City Summit 2017 held as part of China-CEE conference, in Budapest. The concept referred to as the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) is a solution that functions as the brain of the smart city and connects the digital and physical worlds across city administration, public services and industrial economies. IOC has adopted big data, machine learning and AI technologies to deliver real-time, valuable insights for efficient city planning. Use of artificial intelligence is also evident in smart transportation, and face and number plate recognition. Moreover, AI-based video analysis technology is being used to immensely improve security technologies. It allows adoption of innovative function such as real-time vehicle trajectory tracking similar to what was projected in the movies so far. Soon, services relating to public safety, healthcare and city transportation are expected to be truly enhanced utilizing AI.
