Several schools in BBSR join 'Mu Safaiwala' drive

Since the introduction of 'Mu Safaiwala' drive by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) inaugurated on 2nd October, nearly 100 schools in the city have taken up the pledge of cleanliness. The main intention is to urge students to understand the true importance of sanitation. Official sources mention that students are being educated on how to handle waste and segregate them which in turn will also sensitize their family members. The students who meet the cleanliness parameters will be accorded the Mu Safaiwala tag. The campaign will be implemented in three phases and it will be over by 3rd January 2020.
