Low-Carbon Mobility Plan for BBSR

This plan comes after analyzing the number of registered vehicles plying on Bhubaneswar's streets outnumbering the city's population, which is also clogging the arterial roads. The state government's housing and urban development department and BDA in co-operation with German development Agency Deutsche Gesellschaftfür Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, have joined hands to create a Low-Carbon Mobility Plan (LCMP) for the city. The LCMP plan will help the mobility of people and goods in Bhubaneswar to be secure, reliable, affordable and efficient while also enhancing social, economic and environmental sustainability of the city. Providing a 20-year vision with goals, the LCMP will be updated every 5 years from 2019 to 2040.
