Odisha's first waste museum to be come up in Bhubaneswar
As a part of the First International Public Art Symposium organized by charitable trust Artists Network Promoting Indian Culture (Anpic) at the museum site at sector-7, Kalinga Nagar, the state will have its first open-air waste museum. The museum will display 21 sculptures and installations completely made out of waste by 14 international and 7 Indian artists, who will find pride of place at this unique museum. An artist from Ireland, has created a piece using the axle of a truck, drums, car parts and wheels. As per a source, the art museum is expected to cost Rs 5 crore and that the BDA will maintain the art works.
