Laparoscopic surgery training centre opens at AIIMS

Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Training Centre has opened in the AIIMs Bhubaneswar to enhance the skills of the surgeons based in and outside of the country. Laparoscopic surgery is a technique in which operations are performed through small incisions on the body. First of its kind in the state, the centre has opened in the department of the surgery of the institute. The surgery department will consist of nine doctors who will train the surgeons applying from India and abroad.
