Srilankan team take cues from state quality education
On recommendation of National University for Educational Planning and Administration, Sri lankan delegation Sagarika Nandan with 30 fellow members visited Odisha to study the recent prelude of practices by the state government aimed at improving quality of education. The introduction of mother tongue in the primary education for tribal students, initiative taken to enhance their learning ability & child tracking system impressed the dignitaries of Sri Lanka education department a lot. Similarly implementation of Toll free help line for students & talent hunt programs that resulted in reducing the school drop outs had made the delegation think to replicate the same in their education system.Moreover a set of examples on how these students shine in internationally acclaimed institutes later on were presented in front of the delegates.
