GPS Enabled Ambulances At Bhubaneswar

Apollo hospitals, Bhubaneswar introduced GPS enabled ambulance service last week. Apollo - a flagship in healthcare services, is recognised to have a set up of national network of emergency services in nine cities. The system has 60 ambulances & 500 personnel to provide emergency care. Its 24 hours emergency trauma care is scientifically developed having protocol driven standardised devices to meet services. The ambulances have full-fledged ICU assisted by trained life support personnel. GPS devices ensure effective communication between central control room, ambulances & hospitals. This emergency support added another feather to healthcare services of the capital city.
