Govt. Strives For Excellency Higher Education System In The State

Odisha Govt. seeks assistance from World Bank for development of higher education system, skill enhancement & employment in the state. World Bank would provide an aid of Rs 1019.70 crore for the project “achieving excellency in higher education in the state of Odisha”. This would lead to improvisation in teaching quality, learning & research. The state also looks up to development of hand-loom & handicrafts sector by imparting skill development training to artisans & weavers & seeks financial assistance of Rs 460 crore for the mentioned project. Approval has been sought from Union ministry of finance & Union HRD minister
