Speed regulation for safe transport

Installation of speedometer in commercial vehicles will be exercised by the state government soon by setting up several units across the state. Long before Supreme court had instructed all the states to install the device in commercial vehicle to reduce the number of accidents often caused by excess speed. On National and state Highway  60 KMPH  limit has been set for heavy vehicles like bus & truck while  other commercial four wheeler have to restrict their speed at 80 KMPH. Out of more than 55 lakhs vehicles running on the road at present number of commercial vehicles are counted as 4 lakhs.
