Measures taken to relieve traffic personnel from heat

Admirable   endeavor from the Berhampur police department to reduce the ordeal of the police constables who work at traffic signals in this unrelenting heat. Two off-duty constables are engaged to distribute lemon water and glucose to the police personnel  on duty who are at liberty either to take both or one. Police welfare fund has sponsored the program which will last till temperature drops considerably. Concerned authorities have been requested by the constables to make two shifts a day like the previous year.
