Medicine passbooks to be issued under Niramaya scheme
The health and family welfare department has been directed by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to issue medicine passbooks to Niramaya beneficiaries within a month from Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre. The Niramaya scheme is a free medicine distribution scheme, launched in May 2015.It has been quite successful in the state as about 59 lakh people have been benefitted by it.
