IT facilitate better healthcare

During a high-level meeting Sam Pitroda, the technical adviser to the state government stressed on the implementation of information & technology in healthcare centres. He voiced his opinion on issuance of health card to the people & establishment of tele-network between major hospitals & medical colleges that would serve the health issue in the state in spite of the dearth of  doctors & other related facilities. Aiming at the overall growth in the state within two decades state government intends to prepare a vision document,Odisha@100 with the support of Sam Pitroda. He also emphasized on IT application in all major fields like education, agriculture & public distribution systems.Chief Secretary A K Padhi's presence was conspicuous in the meeting.
