Meritorious students from remote area to be enrolled in reputed colleges

Gratifying performance of the SC & ST students this year in  high school certificate examination that  complemented the effort state government  is taking to elevate the academic standard of the tribal. As per record, 2,315 out of the 2,386 students have cleared their  matriculation examination from the 23 schools run by welfare department. To encourage them further Kandhamal district administration has stepped in to provide a better platform to these students & asked the respective head masters to counsel  the meritorious students who have secured A1 & A2 grades to enroll themselves in reputed colleges for a better prospect in future. State government has provisions to sponsor all incidental costs hostel, admission, tuition and other fees for these students.
