LVP Eye Institute and IOCL collaborate to set up rural eye health centre

As per the pact signed with Indian Oil Corporation last year, L V Prasad Eye Institute opened 'Indian Oil Centre for Rural Eye Health' which was unveiled by Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan.  CSR wing of IOCL has contributed  2 crores for setting up of this centre. The objective of this centre is defined to coordinate with all eye health care units under LVPEI across the state  providing necessary solutions thus extending its service to rural areas. Creation of   Quality Eye Care protocols, organizing camps,  survey of the visual impairment in the state are  few notable activities of the centre which promises hope for the visually impaired.
