AC buses rescues city passengers from heat

Demand for AC buses has increased considerably  across the state due to roaring temperature making the bus owners laughing all the way to banks. Though a little expensive, passengers' preference for these buses has made the operators think to equip more buses with  the device. At present out of 1400 private buses running in the city 140 buses has this facility where as  384 operational buses of Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) has none of these fixtures. OSRTC has forwarded a proposal to the state government to purchase new buses as no transaction has been done within the past 3 years and afterwards they are planning to equip the buses with AC. Currently, Dream Team Sahara (DTS), responsible of maneuvering 12 luxury buses running from Puri to Bhubaneswar & within the city is appeased with the passenger exposure this summer.
