BU plans for B.Ed via distance mode

Now in-service B.Ed aspirants have enough reason to cheer as the Berhampur University has submitted a proposal to National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to introduce B.Ed through distance learning. Self-financed 2 years  B.Ed course in regular mode consisting 50 students will be operational from this year and  BU authorities are optimistic to open the distance learning course for 200 at the same time while waiting for  NCTE acknowledgment. The Fakir Mohan University, Balasore has already got approval by NCTE for similar course with a capacity of 100 students.
