Annual Convention of Sports Journalist Federation of India to be held in Odisha capital

Odisha Sports Journalists' Association (OSJA) is hosting the 39th Annual Convention of Sports Journalist Federation of India (SJFI) at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar from September 14 to 18, 2016. The event, first of its kind in Odisha,will feature competitions in games such as cricket (J K Bose Trophy), badminton, basketball, football, table tennis and equally important programmes such as quiz and seminars. Over 100 delegates of SJFI and two top-level office-bearers of AIPS Asia (Asian Sports Press Union) are expected to join the five-day event, which will be graced by a couple of Olympians and sports icons of the country. The SJFI Convention in general and seminars, in particular, will be a nice learning experience for young journalists of the state. OSJA will be bringing out a daily bulletin  Bhubaneswar Rocks  and a souvenir on the occasion.
