15th Rahagiri to highlight ancient art forms

Continuing the triumphant journey, the 15th Rahagiri day will acknowledge the ancient art forms and its state artists. Beautiful dance forms like Ranapa, Chhau, Ghoda Nacha and Odissi will be staged by several artists of Mayurbhanj and Bhubaneswar. Social concerns like child labour, water scarcity and increasing pollution will be exhibited through various cultural activities to draw public attention. Distribution of saplings is another attempt to generate public interest towards a green city. Book reading marathon conceptualized and launched by Bakul Foundation is a commendable endeavor for the revival of the dooming habit of reading among children.
