Body, Organ Donation Campaign in the city on Sunday

On 10th April, a one day, body and organ donation campaign sponsored by Lok Sevak Mandal will be held at Jaydev Bhavan by an organization named Body and Organ Donation Initiative (BODI).It will be attended by 500 representatives from 30 districts. During this event around 300 body and organ donors will be felicitated. However, under this initiative, 400 persons on affidavit have donated their bodies and organs. The key participants of the event would be Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Director of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar Dr. Ashok Mohapatra, Dr. Sanatan Rath, BMC Mayor AN Jena, president of Lok Sevak Mandal Deepak Malaviya and publisher of leading regional newspaper, Samaj, Niranjan Rath.
